Project Management

We excel in managing projects.  In fact our customers find this to be one of our greatest assets.  Some of us here at Harbinger have over 30 years experience managing complex installations.  In managing new construction projects the Murphy’s Law maxim is truly an understatement.  The very nature of a construction project is filled with obstacles that must be navigated.  We have seen most everything.  We know what is lurking around every corner.

Our project and construction management methods are proven.  The basic PERT/GANTT charts are a good beginning.  In new construction we find that pushing project responsibility to all levels of the work force gives us the agility to adapt to the ever changing construction schedule.  By focusing on a set of by-directional critical tasks we are assured of completing the project on time and within budget.  Equally important is the inherit benefits in managing the by-directional critical tasks insuring that we do not contribute to construction delays.

Be careful of proposals with penalties for construction delays or changes.  These are typical traps set by low bidders to make up margin.  We expect delays and changes, and adapt to them efficiently without penalties.
